A 30-year-long love story, one episode at a time.
About the show
Part love story, part coming-of-age story, part mystery, part thriller, the Frannie Trilogy is funny and sad and erotic and smart, just like the extraordinary people whose lives it chronicles.
The story begins in 2009. John travels from his home in Madrid to the Mediterranean island of Menorca to see Frannie, an old girlfriend. The story then goes back to 1987 when John first meets Frannie. Henry writes in his journal in 2009 and 2010.
The story proceeds, chapter by chapter, back and forth through the timelines.
How do these people, their stories and the timelines intersect?
